Grow Journal: China Choy Cabbage

China Choy is a close relative to Bok Choy but not quite as dense a head. It is a Stir-fry staple with thick, succulent stalks and dark-green leaves forms a loosely headed rosette. Watch as we grow large lush heads of this cabbage in under 7 weeks!

Week 1

Here we started our China Choy Cabbage in 1 inch Rockwool Cubes. The seedlings we watered with a light mixture of Pure Blend Pro Grow. Once the seedlings sprout and we see roots peaking out of the bottom of the rockwool cube it is time to plant them into the system.

We planted them into a Botanicare Turbo Garden Ebb & Flow system using 4 inch Rockwool Cubes. We then used General Hydroponics Flora Duo as the fertilizer.
